In 2018, Echo Base-BP Capital Pte Ltd, known as Echo Base, was formed as a leading real estate fund management company. It is a 50/50 partnership between Boustead Projects Ltd., a publicly-traded real estate developer on the SGX, and Moor House Capital Pte Ltd, primarily owned by Min Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Razer Inc., a globally recognized technology firm specializing in gaming hardware and financial services.

Echo Base was established as a real estate fund management firm, specializing in Hospitality and Commercial real estate in global gateway cities. Our strategy centers on revitalizing assets into iconic developments that enhance investor value. We prioritize technology integration, leveraging AI, IoT, and robotics for operational efficiency, while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability.

Echo Base currently manages two properties situated in Singapore.

The first is Razer’s Southeast Asia headquarters, a structure that boasts an instantly recognizable black façade with acid green lines that are synonymous with the Razer logo.

The second property, COMO Orchard, is a freehold mixed-use development located in the heart of Orchard Road. Echo Base acquired it in 2022 and has strategically repositioning this asset after obtaining it from a distressed vendor.

  • Min Liang is the Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Razer Inc.
  • In addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer, he also serves as the Creative Director and is responsible for directing and overseeing the design and development of all the products at the Company.
  • Min Liang started Razer in 2005 as a two-man startup and has since grown the business into the world’s largest gamer-focused ecosystem of hardware, software and services.
  • He has expanded Razer in Asia with the acquisition of Malaysian virtual currency firm MOL Global, and has tie-ups with SingTel, Lazada and China's JD.com.
  • Razer is dual headquartered in Irvine (California) and Singapore with regional headquarters in Hamburg and Shanghai, with over 19 offices worldwide.

  • Yu Wei Joined Boustead in 2009 and took to the role of Executive Deputy Chairman in 2015. With over a decade of experience in property development, Yu Wei oversees Boustead's real estate sector, including development, investment, asset management, legal affairs, overseas expansion, and strategic partnerships.
  • He has held positions within Boustead's parent company, Boustead Singapore Limited, listed on the SGX-ST. Yu Wei's family holds controlling interests in Boustead's listed entities. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) degree from The University of New South Wales

  • Ei Liang holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Singapore Management University.
  • His extensive expertise is a driving force behind Echo Base's vision in the hospitality and commercial real estate sectors.
